Connect your logger to ZENTRA Cloud

Your ZL6 or ATMOS 41W sends its measurements to ZENTRA Cloud, where you can view, share, and download them from anywhere. Here's how to get set up.

Using a ZL6 Basic? Set your ZL6 Basic up in ZENTRA Cloud at zentracloud.com. The rest of this page covers loggers that upload on their own.

Subscriptions. Have a subscription voucher, or want to purchase a subscription? Both are still managed in ZENTRA Cloud at zentracloud.com.

Before you start

Your orange Device Registration card — packed with your logger. It lists your serial number, your device password, and the ZENTRA Cloud server your device belongs to. Keep it. It's a sticker, so you can take it with you when you leave the install site.
The Editor role or higher, if you're joining an organization someone else created.

Can't find the orange card? Your serial number is also printed on the instrument: inside the door on a ZL6, or under the rain funnel on an ATMOS 41W. Contact support for help identifying your device password.

Your logger is already recording

Your logger collects and stores measurements from the moment it's configured. When you add it to ZENTRA Cloud, everything it recorded beforehand becomes available — including readings taken before you created your account. You can deploy now and finish setting up ZENTRA Cloud later.

Step 1 — Create your ZENTRA Cloud account

Create your account on the server printed on your orange card. If your card lists a regional server, such as the EU server, create your account there instead. Your account and your device have to be on the same server.

Step 2 — Add your logger

Go to Devices → Add Device and enter the serial number and password from your orange Device Registration card. This claims the logger for your organization.

Your logger ships pointed at ZENTRA Cloud 1.0. Adding a new device to a 2.0 organization repoints it automatically (if the device was never added at any time to 1.0).

Add a Data Logger

Already have loggers in ZENTRA Cloud 1.0? No problem, go ahead and add them to 2.0, then use the device Configuration to point them at 2.0 to enable future editing. See Transitioning from ZENTRA Cloud 1.0 to 2.0.

Step 3 — Confirm it worked

Open Devices. You should see:

Your logger
Your most recent readings
Each connected sensor by model — TEROS 12, ATMOS 14, HYDROS 21...etc

That's it — your data is in ZENTRA Cloud and your logger will keep uploading on its own.

If a sensor is missing or isn't showing a model name, its port needs configuring. You can do this remotely from ZENTRA Cloud — Configure a Data Logger — or over a direct connection using ZENTRA Utility, as covered in your quick start guide.

Analog sensors won't identify themselves. Digital sensors are detected automatically; analog ports have to be assigned. Readings taken before a port is configured can't be processed afterward, so it's worth catching this early.

How your data reaches ZENTRA Cloud

Your ZL6 or ATMOS 41W sends its own data to ZENTRA Cloud over cellular, or Wi-Fi, depending on the model. No field visits, no cables.
