Every organization gets one 14-day free trial. Here's how to start it, what it covers, and what happens to your loggers when it ends.

Try every subscription feature for 14 days. Your organization gets one trial, so start it when you're ready to evaluate.

During the trial every logger in your organization is covered, and you can subscribe and unsubscribe as much as you like without being charged. What matters is what's still subscribed when the 14 days are up.

Before you start

Your organization needs billing information on file — an email address and a mailing address. No card is required for the trial itself.

You'll need the Editor role or higher.

Start your trial

Trials are started from the Devices page.

  1. Go to Devices and select the subscription status for any logger.
  2. In Device Subscription, select Start 14-day trial.
  3. Confirm at Confirm Trial Start.

Subscribing your organization's very first logger will also begin the trial. A confirmation appears first, so you'll know it's starting.

During your trial

Every logger is covered, so use the time to check the data you actually care about.

The one thing to do before the 14 days are up is subscribe the loggers you want to keep. Choose a plan for each from Device Subscription as you normally would. The plan doesn't start or charge anything yet — the Subscription column shows it as starting on the day your trial ends.

Loggers you don't subscribe simply aren't covered once the trial finishes. They keep recording either way.

What happens when your trial ends

Loggers still subscribed when the trial ends move onto their plan automatically, and your organization is charged — as long as there's either credit in your Available Balance or a default payment method saved.

If there's neither, those loggers aren't covered and are added to your cart instead. Nothing is lost; you can check out whenever you're ready.

To avoid that, add one of the following before your trial ends:

  • Redeem a Subscription Code
  • Buy prepaid usage with Add Usage
  • Save a card under Payment Method

Notices you'll see

Two reminders appear in the sidebar while a trial is running:

Notice

What it means

Trial ends <date>

How long you have left. Select it for Trial Details.

No Devices Renewing

Nothing is set to continue after the trial. If you leave it that way, nothing carries over.

A Set Up Billing notice appears if loggers are set to renew but there's no balance and no saved payment method.

One trial per organization

The trial runs once, for 14 days, and there's no way to restart or extend it from within ZENTRA Cloud.

If your evaluation needs more time, get in touch before the trial runs out rather than after. Contact METER support
