Swap the module

Follow the Wi-Fi board replacement instructions to swap the module:

Update the device configuration

Use the Module Swap Wizard in ZENTRA Utility Mobile to update the settings in your device. If you do not have access to ZENTRA Utility Mobile, follow the manual steps below in the terminal in ZENTRA Utility for desktop.

Terminal Commands (optional)

Only use the terminal commands to manually update the configuration if you do not have access to the module swap wizard in ZENTRA Utility Mobile.

Requirements:

Show Terminal Command Steps
  1. Connect
    1. Connect via a cabled connection (Desktop).
  2. Terminal
    1. Click Terminal in the Menu bar to open the terminal window.
  3. Set the trait
    1. Type set trait 4 and press enter.
    2. The response in the terminal should be "OK".
    3. Type get trait to verify the setting has been updated.
    4. The response in the terminal should be "4".
  4. Connect to the Wi-Fi network
    1. Follow the ZL6 - Wi-Fi Enabled - Quick Start to configure and test the connection to the network. You must have ZENTRA Utility Mobile to configure and test the connection to the network for Wi-Fi enabled devices.
